Meet The Team

Christine mitchell, MBA

Director of Sales & Corporate Communication

Christine  stumbled upon baby wearing when her first daughter was born in 2013,  and has not looked back since. Baby wearing allowed her to keep her baby close and still accomplish what was needed each day. She quickly fell in love with all aspects of baby wearing and the baby wearing community.

Christine partnered with her MBA professor, Karin,  whom had been working with women weavers in Guatemala. Over lunch one day they discussed  wefts and warps and designs and . . . Kush Textiles was born.

In addition to her knowledge of the baby wearing industry, Christine brings her 15 years of sales, management, and marketing experience to our team.

Christine says, "As an artist I have a deep appreciation for the beauty of handwoven goods, and especially baby wraps, and feel so lucky to work with a great group of people to bring these amazing works of art to you."
